Last week, a meeting of representatives of the Partnership for Mineral Security (SMEs) took place in London. The joint statement announces support for mining, processing and recycling projects for mineral resources. The theme of the meeting was responsible investment in critical minerals, with the main objective of strengthening cooperation between SMEs, like-minded partners and the global financial community.
SMEs seek to stimulate public and private sector investment in building secure and responsible global critical minerals supply chains. Following the commitment of SMEs to high environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards in the global minerals sector, SMEs have published a statement on critical minerals.
The text of the declaration was issued after the end of a meeting of the governments of the European Union, Australia, Finland, India, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
In the text, among others, our project was named in the first place:
"This project supports the transition to a circular economy and contributes to site remediation efforts by supplying responsibly produced manganese for the EV industry through the reprocessing of manganese from mine tailings in the Czech Republic."
